About GameBeat
GameBeat is an independent, English-language website that writes buying guides for gaming equipment: headsets, mice, keyboards, monitors, chairs and capture devices. It is not a store, it does not sell anything, and it is not affiliated with Sony, Microsoft, Nintendo, Valve or Amazon.
Why does this site exist?
Equipment listings can obscure the details that decide whether a setup works: microphone routing, button reach, missing keyboard keys, monitor input modes and chair adjustment ranges. We connect manufacturer documentation with practical questions to ask before buying. These are research-based guides, not laboratory reviews.
What will you find here?
- Buying checklists (the guides): evergreen explainers with a setup checklist of things to confirm, each linked to the official sources it relies on and dated with the day the facts were last checked.
- Product picks (the picks): single-product posts that point to one exact listing, once the link has been opened and matched to the exact model and option.
Editorial standards
- Facts come from official sources. Specifications, compatibility rules and connection requirements are taken from the platform holder’s or manufacturer’s own pages, linked at the bottom of every article.
- No invented experience. We do not claim to have tested, owned or used a product unless that is literally true, and we do not publish ratings, scores or reviews we did not produce.
- No prices. Prices and stock change constantly. We never print Amazon prices, availability or star ratings; you see them on the retailer page.
- Dates are visible. Every page shows when it was last updated and when its facts were last checked.
- Corrections are welcome. If something is wrong, email contact@gamebeat.online and we fix it and change the updated date.
